Qualifications

Comprehensive experience in joint strategic planning.
Graduate of senior military education programs or equivalents (JAWS/SAMS/SAASS/SAW/MAWS).
Master’s degree required.

Responsibilities

Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all task order activities.
Provide analyses, recommendations, and draft products for joint planning team and working group review and approval for DoD and allied partners.
Assist with evaluations and recommendations during joint planning processes at a Combatant Command level.
Provide SME on Joint Operational Planning Process: Mission Analysis, COA Development, COA Analysis, COA Comparison and Decision.
Develop plans and/or orders by analyzing COA decisions, mission statements, and guidance for subordinate actions.
Oversee orderly handover of plans to execution with rationale for key decisions.
Coordinate across working groups, staff, and partners to support plan development.
Contribute to reports and analyses with alternative solutions and assessments.
