Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland seeks a Senior Associate, Community Planning & Allocations, to turn research into practical strategies that strengthen Jewish life. You will support the Community Planning and Allocations committees, coordinate the Mental Health Crisis Response Team with partner agencies, and help manage grant processes while building relationships with lay leaders.

Qualifications

• Plan and execute projects with milestones and success metrics.
• Build trust with lay and professional community members.
• Knowledge of Jewish communal structures, culture, and traditions.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading for speeches and reports.
• Use planning frameworks (logic models/theory of change) to define outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Planning and Allocations committees and oversee engaging stakeholders.
• Identify unmet needs with agency professionals and develop initiatives.
• Coordinate Mental Health Crisis Response Team strategy and partner engagement.
• Analyze research and produce white papers for stakeholders.
• Oversee annual allocations process and agency oversight.
• Draft speaker notes highlighting agencies’ accomplishments and challenges.
