SABG seeks an experienced Strategic Communications Writer to support U.S. Space Force organizations in El Segundo, CA. You will translate complex technical information into clear communications for senior leaders and program teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's in English/communications, and 12+ years of professional writing and editing experience. You will craft executive correspondence, briefing materials, talking points, and reports.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in technical writing, professional writing, editing, journalism, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex technical, acquisition, programmatic, or specialized information into clear content for non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing and editing executive-level correspondence, briefings, reports, presentations, talking points, and other professional communications products.
• Experience supporting security and policy reviews of communications materials.
• Experience developing CMG documents and related strategic communications products.
• Experience interfacing with senior Government communications/public affairs organizations (Space Systems Command preferred).
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into accurate, audience-appropriate content.
• Strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment including classified programs.

Aufgaben

• Develop, edit, and coordinate executive-level correspondence, briefings, reports, talking points, and other strategic communications products.
• Translate complex acquisition, programmatic, technical, and operational information into clear, concise communications.
• Support the Strategic Communication Cell to align communications with priorities and leadership guidance.
• Research and synthesize information from multiple sources to develop accurate communications.
• Draft and edit executive communications, leadership messages, and responses to taskers.
• Review materials for accuracy, tone, and adherence to style standards.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and government leadership to validate content.
• Develop reference materials for leadership engagements and events.
• Support senior leadership presentations with narrative content and talking points.
• Identify and clarify complex information with SMEs to ensure understandability.
