Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; English, journalism, or communications preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of professional writing, editing, or strategic communications experience.
• Experience translating complex technical information into clear content for nontechnical and executive audiences.
• Experience developing executive-level correspondence, briefings, reports, and talking points.
• Experience coordinating security and policy reviews of communications materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and coordinate executive-level correspondence, leadership messages, briefings, talking points, reports, presentations, memoranda, and other strategic communications products.
• Translate complex acquisition, technical, operational, and programmatic information into clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate communications.
• Support the Strategic Communication Cell in developing messaging aligned with organizational priorities, mission objectives, and senior leadership guidance.
• Research, gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources to develop accurate, compelling, and well-supported written products.
• Draft and refine executive communications, responses to leadership taskings, background papers, fact sheets, and other materials.
• Review and edit communications products for accuracy, clarity, organization, grammar, tone, and formatting.
• Collaborate with Government leadership, subject matter experts, program offices, public affairs personnel, and mission partners to obtain information and coordinate communications.
• Develop narrative content, key messages, speaker notes, and materials for senior leadership presentations and high-visibility engagements.
• Coordinate communications products through security, policy, and public affairs review processes.
