Job summary
Vertiv seeks a Strategic Capacity & Planning Sr Analyst to develop and execute the capacity planning framework for the AMER Busway business. You will collaborate with Anderson and Reynosa facilities to align demand, engineering readiness, capacity, and commercial priorities into a single execution plan.
In this role you will partner with Sales, Program Management and Engineering, deliver executive analysis, support capacity governance, and provide mitigation plans for risks, while driving
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 8-12 years' experience in ETO manufacturing, strategic planning, SIOP or capacity planning.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and program management.
- Advanced analytical skills with ERP systems, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Develop medium and long-term capacity strategies for AMER operations.
- Evaluate capacity bottlenecks and resources.
- Lead strategic planning for major ETO programs and assess delivery feasibility.
- Partner with Sales, Program Management and Engineering to prioritise opportunities.
- Provide inputs to the AMER SIOP demand/supply team.
- Support intercompany allocation and global capacity balancing.
- Identify capacity, engineering, material and supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor factory loading, backlog, pipeline, lead times and revenue outlook.
- Prepare executive reports and present strategic recommendations.
- Drive planning standardisation and analytics using ERP, Power BI and Excel/SQL.
