Job description

The Senior Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with AssistRx’s pharmaceutical manufacturing partners. This role involves working closely with pharmaceutical executives (Associate Director and above) to maximize the value they receive from iAssist’s features and services. The Account Manager presents new ideas and innovations to clients, upselling and enhancing their products, and acts as a liaison between Pharmaceutical Brand Teams and all key stakeholders at AssistRx.

Responsibilities
  • Develops strategic partnerships by understanding clients' business goals, technical challenges, and infrastructure to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Serves as an advisor to clients and colleagues.
  • Proposes new ideas and innovations to upsell and improve client products and services.
  • Researches high-level solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintains ongoing relationships with clients through regular meetings and calls to review service quality and ensure they benefit from iAssist’s features.
  • Collaborates with Client Services to resolve complex support issues effectively.
  • Oversees the delivery of services to ensure high client satisfaction and trust.
  • Identifies the most effective problem resolution methods, utilizing internal resources as needed.
  • Acts as the primary contact for sales and service inquiries.
  • Participates in client quarterly reviews, annual Plan of Action meetings, and other travel as necessary.
  • Plans milestones and monitors progress.
  • Communicates effectively by presenting information clearly to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience in customer support or sales roles.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, especially with Pharmaceutical Brand Teams.
  • Project Management, HUB Operations, or Specialty Pharmacy Operations/Account Management experience is preferred.
  • Technical skills are essential.
