Sr. Strategic Account Executive, Integrated Pharmacy Payer Services: This role manages the Optum Integrated Pharmacy (Specialty, Home Delivery, Infusion, Frontier, Genoa) business relationships with OptumRx clients. It involves account management and strategic initiatives like increasing Rx capture rates and contractual negotiations.

You will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. as you tackle significant challenges.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the client-facing resource for pharmacy services, benefits, and capabilities
  • Coordinate across teams to implement client needs, complete projects, and address service requirements
  • Develop strategic account plans for growth and collaborate with ORx leaders to enhance value
  • Lead meetings with clients and internal teams to review performance and initiatives
  • Facilitate internal alignment on NPS initiatives and present pharmacy performance updates
  • Resolve complex issues and track performance metrics
  • Manage remediation plans and provide ad-hoc reports
  • Present current and future pharmacy program insights
  • Assist with member communications and work with product development on new initiatives
  • Present opportunities internally and to clients
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in healthcare industry experience
  • 5+ years in client management roles
  • Experience preparing and delivering senior-level presentations
  • Proficiency with online reporting and data analysis
  • Knowledge of OptumRx PBM and pharmacies
  • Strong product and project management skills
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and lead projects to completion
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dependability and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel 20-25%

  • Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystem
  • Problem-solving and research skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

The salary range is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, based on various factors. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. The application deadline is at least 2 business days from posting or until enough candidates are collected.
