Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0–4 years’ relevant experience (RA) or 4–7 years (SRA).
• Hands‑on plasmid design and cloning (Gibson, Golden Gate, restriction/ligation).
• Experience culturing and screening engineered microbial strains in liquid and/or solid formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and validate plasmids for gene expression and pathway engineering.
• Generate chromosomally integrated E. coli strains (e.g., via recombineering or CRISPR-based methods).
• Culture and screen engineered strains; analyze data from GC/LC to assess performance.
• Process, QC, and summarize analytical data; present findings to project team.
• Maintain accurate data collection and upload to LIMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve outcomes.
• Maintain lab operations and document SOPs.
