Senior Stormwater Project Manager/Engineer – Mead & Hunt
Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing stormwater practice. We have a full‑time position available for a senior stormwater project manager/engineer specializing in stormwater design projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee schedules and budgets for projects
- Prepare or direct the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for projects
- Maintain client contact
- Prepare scoping documents, pricing, fee estimates and marketing strategies for proposed projects
- Perform QA/QC tasks
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Attend client meetings
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and handle any construction administration issues
- Mentor staff
Travel 10–15% will be required.
The Successful Candidate Must Have All Of The Following
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or water resources engineering from an accredited college or university
- At least twelve (12) years of relevant stormwater experience
- A PE license with the ability to obtain in Florida within six (6) months
The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/All Of The Following
- Leading the design of stormwater projects
- Project management (scope, schedule and budget)
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
- Client management for municipal and county governments
- Relevant software experience (SWMM, StormWise, etc.)
- Business development (proposals, tracking opportunities, etc.)
- Comfort signing and sealing documents
