Job summary

AECOM’s Arlington, VA office seeks a Project Manager / Senior Stormwater Engineer to lead water resources, stormwater and natural resources projects for federal, state, municipal, and private clients. The role mentors staff, manages multidisciplinary teams, and drives design through construction documentation with QA oversight.

The candidate will direct proposals, budgets, and client communications, and may travel regionally. Virginia PE licensure is required or pursued.

Qualifications

Requires PE licensure in Virginia or ability to obtain.
Experience leading technical teams on water resources/stormwater projects.
Strong understanding of stormwater design, planning, and implementation.

Responsibilities

Serve as a project and technical manager for stormwater planning, design, and implementation projects.
Lead preparation of project proposals and agreements.
Lead multidisciplinary teams in design and construction documentation for stormwater infrastructure.
Provide technical direction and QA review of deliverables to AECOM standards.
Prepare, review, and seal design documents as a Virginia-licensed PE.
Provide bid and construction phase support for diverse clients.
Coordinate client meetings and maintain relationships; lead business development in VA, MD, NC.
