Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Engineer, Storage for DGX Cloud across the US and remote locations. You will design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based storage and data platforms, building automation and tooling for day-2 operations and monitoring.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of experience, strong Kubernetes proficiency, and Python/Go/Java skills, plus IaC with ArgoCD, Terraform, and Git pipelines. Equity and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 12+ years of practical experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
• Experience building storage-related tooling and data platforms.
• Telemetry and observability using Prometheus/InfluxDB/Grafana/Elastic.
• Proficiency in Python/Go/Java.
• IaC with ArgoCD, Terraform, Git pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based storage and data platforms, including manifests, Helm charts, and operators.
• Build tools, services, and automation for storage lifecycle from provisioning to day-2 operations.
• Develop and operate telemetry and observability—metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts.
• Diagnose complex issues across distributed, containerized infrastructure.
• Collaborate with peers to improve service lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Scale systems via automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD to improve reliability and velocity.
• Support services with deployment automation, capacity planning, and readiness reviews.
• Contribute to sustainable incident response and postmortems; participate in on-call rotation.
