Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior software development engineer to design, implement, and deploy distributed storage management systems for its hardware infrastructure teams. You will collaborate across engineering to define features and ensure scalable storage solutions using Perl and Python, while driving quality and faster time-to-market for next‑gen hardware.

Candidates should have Linux development experience, a background in distributed storage, and 5+ years in the field, with a BS/MS in CS or

Qualifications

Development background in Linux software development, storage systems and networked distributed systems.
Development experience with Perl and Python
MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to define new features for distributed software storage systems.
Craft and develop scalable, distributed, storage management system solutions written in Perl and Python
Work closely with team members and internal customers to optimize workflow efficiency and scalability.
Drive improvements to SW design and test processes to improve velocity and deliver very high production quality.
Directly contribute to the overall quality of and improve time to market for our next generation HW products and technologies.
