Everforth Apex seeks a Sr. Storage and Infrastructure Engineer in Englewood, CO. You will design, build, and operate block, file, and object storage, enterprise backup, and virtualization platforms, ensuring high availability and security.

Collaboration with network, security, and operations teams is essential to maintain a resilient environment. You will also automate provisioning and lifecycle tasks, plan upgrades, and perform capacity forecasting to support data resilience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in storage, systems, or site reliability engineering with enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with data protection platforms, virtualization technologies, infrastructure as code tools, monitoring suites, and scripting (Python or Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable storage infrastructure (block/file/object).
• Design, deploy and operate virtualization platforms and perform capacity planning.
• Manage enterprise server infrastructure, firmware, lifecycle management, and hardware refreshes.
• Plan upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption; monitor platform health and capacity.
• Engineer data protection platforms, focusing on replication, immutability, and recovery workflows.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle tasks using IaC and scripting.
