Job summary

Everforth Apex in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and support Nutanix and VMware-based compute, storage, and network environments behind OT workloads.

You will automate provisioning with PowerShell/PowerCLI and scripts, implement DR/HA plans, harden security, and collaborate across application, cybersecurity, cloud, and OT teams to deliver reliable lab infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on deployment and administration of Nutanix AOS/AHV clusters through Prism Element and Prism Central, plus VMware vSphere administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Nutanix clusters and VMware vSphere environments with capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Support networks including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, segmentation, and remote access.
• Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot incidents across compute, storage, and network layers.
