Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Sr Storage Engineer to deliver expert storage and backup support for mission-critical infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, on-call duties, and collaboration with engineering teams to implement changes in a regulated environment.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5+ years in storage, and expertise across Hitachi/Dell, Commvault, Cohesity, VMware, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5+ years of relevant storage engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Hitachi and Dell storage platforms; expert in Commvault and Cohesity.
• Proficiency in VMware environments, capacity management, and automation tooling (Ansible, Python, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of enterprise storage networks and backup systems.
• Handle storage and backup provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities to ensure a secure environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to document and implement change requests.
• Adhere to change control policies and procedures.
• Participate in workgroups to design, build, test, and implement infrastructure products.
• Execute incident management including on-call rotations and root cause analysis.
• Review capacity trends, allocate resources, and perform performance tuning.
