Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems, infra, storage, or distributed engineering.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and performance troubleshooting.
• Professional Python and Java development experience.
• Experience building infra tooling and services.
• Experience with distributed storage tech: Hadoop, Ceph, S3-like.
• Automation experience: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
• Kubernetes familiarity with containerized infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale storage and data platforms.
• Develop infrastructure tooling in Python and Java.
• Optimize Linux systems for throughput and latency.
• Engineer storage solutions using open-source, enterprise, and S3-compatible tech.
• Build automation for provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Drive observability with Prometheus and related monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with teams supporting data and streaming platforms like Kafka.
