Job summary

CDIT Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Storage Administrator/Engineer to own enterprise backup and storage infrastructure for a federal customer in Annapolis. You will lead day-to-day administration of backup systems, coordinate complex troubleshooting across SAN environments, and collaborate with ISSO on SSP re-authorization activities.

The role requires 10+ years in storage administration, active TS/SCI with FSP, and hands-on experience with NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or higher.
• 10+ years as a System/Storage Administrator with hands-on backup experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise backup systems (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
• Onboard new servers/VMs into backup coverage and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure new backup solutions as acquired and deployed.
• Troubleshoot break-fix for backup appliances and disk arrays (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik; Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast, IBM).
• Monitor and resolve SAN issues via command-line interfaces and zoning.
• Collaborate with ISSO on patching cycles and SSP activities.
