Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a senior storage engineer to architect, deploy, and operate complex storage environments for DoD clients in the Indo-Pacific. You will design policies, optimize data access, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure resilient delivery.

With 8+ years in storage, you will mentor junior engineers and work across hybrid cloud environments, coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, deploying, and configuring network storage solutions (SAN/NAS/object storage).
• Experience with provisioning storage and performance tuning for operational demand.
• Experience with backup and recovery planning and implementation, including configurations and policy.
• Experience with a major vendor such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience in virtual environment management such as VMware solutions.
• Experience with hybrid networks and virtualization technologies.
• Experience documenting and diagramming technical architectures.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate complex network storage environments across DoD clients.
• Design and implement custom storage policies to ensure data control in hybrid cloud environments.
• Interface with stakeholders, delivery and engineering teams, and cybersecurity professionals to ensure resilient data-centric delivery.
• Mentor the next generation of storage engineers to grow into tomorrow’s data architects.
• Collaborate with DoD clients in the Indo-Pacific to meet client requirements.
