Job summary

HII – Mission Technologies in Florida is seeking a Senior STINGRAI Risk Management/Aviation Safety & Quality Lead to support USSOUTHCOM missions, implementing and strengthening safety, quality, and risk across STINGRAI operations.

You will lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety program development for aviation activities in dispersed, austere environments across Latin America, while coordinating with partner nations and interagency partners.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of mission profiles, including rapid mobility, remote operations, and dynamic mission environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise in developing, modifying, and executing safety and quality tasks that identify and document hazards across systems and systems of systems.
• Apply system safety engineering principles including hazard analyses, hazard categorization, causal analyses, mitigation development, documentation, tracking, and residual risk assessment.
• Conduct analyses such as functional analyses, safety and hazard evaluations, risk assessments, reliability assessments, and residual risk reviews.
• Support safety and quality program management through schedule tracking, progress reporting, and coordination.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
