Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to assemble and sterilize instruments, trays, utensils, and linen packs in the Central Sterile Processing department. The role requires handling case carts and adhering to aseptic techniques, with weekend rotation and on-call requirements.

Preferred candidates have a Central Sterile Processing program and two years of experience; CRCST/CBSPD certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Central Sterile Processing program preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing experience preferred.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble instrument trays, sterilize instruments, and prepare linen packs.
• Operate steam and plasma sterilizers and monitor related tests.
• Train and supervise staff; provide feedback to leadership.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and labeling; ensure clean, sterile items.

Education
