Description

Senior Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a 1.0 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a variable shift.

The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.

Senior Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a 1.0 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a variable shift.

The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.

Required Qualifications

  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire or,
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire or,
  • National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire.
  • 3 years - Recent sterile processing experience.
  • Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.
