Job summary

You will decontaminate, prepare, sterilize, and distribute instrumentation; maintain records and support high-level disinfection procedures. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring space and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant experience of 2 years in sterile processing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, inspects, cleans, and reassembles instrumentation and power equipment according to instructions for use and industry standards.
• Operates and troubleshoots steam and low-temperature sterilizers; communicates needs or repairs to supervisor.
• Maintains records of sterile processing, inventory, and usage; supports infection prevention compliance.
• Collaborates with leadership to plan and oversee sterile processing operations; coordinates duties and suggests improvements.
• Maintains space, equipment, and supplies; ensures compliance with EH&S inspections.
• Trains others in proper processing and handling of instruments and scopes.
