Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to oversee daily sterile processing operations. You will ensure cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and tray assembly meet established standards and support cross-department needs with accurate instrumentation and supplies.

The role requires at least two years of sterile processing experience and CRCST or CSPDT certification. Endoscopy may require CBSPD or CER credentials; strong computer entry skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years Sterile Processing experience as a Sterile Processing Tech.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification; Endoscopy department requires CBSPD or CER certification.
• Knowledge of perioperative instrumentation, sterilization, and AAMI standards.
• Computer entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily sterile processing operations, ensuring cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and tray assembly meet standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of instrumentation and supplies.
• Monitor processes, maintain documentation, and provide input on performance and training.
• Assist management with goals, cost control, and staffing decisions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
