Job summary

Qualifications

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required; CBSPD/CER per endoscopy if applicable.
• Two years sterile processing experience; endoscopy experience a plus.
• Knowledge of perioperative instrumentation and AAMI standards.
• Familiar with Joint Commission and AORN standards.
• Computer entry skills for documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for performance appraisals and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure availability of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Schedule, supervise, and oversee training of technicians and oversee case cart processes.
• Monitor sterilization processes and infection control documentation.
• Lead sterile processing activities and provide technical guidance to the team.
