• Proven ability to read drawings and BOMs for purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Purchase structural steel and related materials from mills, service centers, and warehouses.
• Review project requirements and BOMs to determine purchasing needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize excess stock.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Create and manage purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project management, estimating, and accounting.
• Ensure material traceability and compliance with specs and certifications.
• Utilize Tekla PowerFab/FabSuite for purchasing and inventory records.
