Qualifications

• Must have steel purchasing experience or extensive steel knowledge.
• Experience in procurement management within manufacturing or construction.
• Bachelor's degree required; certifications in procurement or supply chain are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for steel materials.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and ensure FAR compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships, evaluations, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with pricing budgets and scheduling constraints for orders.
• Conduct category management to optimize spend and resilience.
• Oversee logistics, materials management, QA and contract management to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to align with production schedules and manage risks.
