Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC has an immediate opening for a Steam Turbine Field Service Engineer to support outage services across the US and international travel.

The engineer will troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair turbine and generator equipment while building strong customer relationships and providing timely reports. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years in power generation, with independent work in a dynamic field service environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Five years of work experience in the Power Generation industry.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing Steam/Gas turbine and generator equipment.
  • Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and ability to explain technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair designated equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and field modifications.
  • Lead engineer overseeing project scope, including project management and site safety.
  • Maintain service logs, internal records, and final reports.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure calibration.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
  • Adhere to OSHA 10/30 and other regulatory requirements.
