Job summary

Merck is seeking an experienced statistical programmer lead within BARDS to drive analysis and reporting across late-stage drug/vaccine programs. You will design, implement, and validate complex datasets, tables, listings, and figures for regulatory submissions and post-marketing support.

The role requires strong SAS expertise, data management knowledge, and collaboration with statistics and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables at all stages of development.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 9+ years SAS programming in a clinical trial environment.
• MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 7+ years SAS programming in a clinical trial environment.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report program development and validation using global standards and SOPs.
• Maintain and manage a project plan with resource forecasting.
