Job summary
Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to deliver high-quality programming deliverables for Early Development Statistics and PK/PD Modeling.
The role involves gathering requirements, transforming data into analysis datasets, and developing tables, listings, and figures per analysis plans. The candidate will collaborate with statisticians, PK modelers, and other stakeholders to improve efficiency and compliance, and implement programming methods not available
Qualifications
- BA/BS plus 5-9 years SAS/R programming experience in a clinical trial environment
- MS plus 3-7 years SAS/R programming experience in a clinical trial environment
- Experience with regulatory submissions and data standards
Responsibilities
- Programmatically develop, validate and maintain complex datasets, tables, listings, and figures
- Provide technical consultation and analytical support to statisticians and PK modelers for exploratory and unplanned statistical analyses
- Prepare compliant programming code for regulatory submissions including analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures and associated documentation
- Ensure programmatic traceability from data source to analysis / modeling result
- Support the development of programming standards to enable efficient and high quality production of programming deliverables
