Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics, data analytics, applied mathematics, operations research, or related field with strong foundations in probability, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design, optimization, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical techniques to policy and acquisition decisions to maximize operational effectiveness and quality of engineering solutions.
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to set priorities, review work, and ensure results are validated and aligned with mission needs.
• Represent MITRE in technical discussions with sponsors and stakeholders, resolving conflicting requirements.
• Lead development of roadway safety research proposals including data requirements, methodologies, and defined outputs.
• Provide oversight for data linkage, quality control, governance, and secure data sharing.
