Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to own the stateful backbone of EY’s AI-native platform, including data stores, memory tiers, and event streaming across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

This role focuses on durability, consistency, and recoverability, building multi-tenant data substrates and CDC pipelines, with a strong emphasis on governance, security, and reliability in regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production data infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on with relational and vector databases.
• Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to AI/ML data patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own memory and data stores across environments and tenants.
• Own event streaming and async messaging pipelines.
• Ensure data durability, consistency, and recoverability.
• Build streaming and CDC pipelines with schema governance.
