Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior role to manage enterprise knowledge graph platforms. You will install, tune, and maintain Stardog environments, develop SPARQL queries, and ensure performance across dev, test, and production systems.

Collaboration with architects and governance teams is essential for semantic models. The role covers cloud-native deployments, data integrations, and DR capabilities, with a strong BI and healthcare analytics focus.

Qualifications

• Experience building and administering knowledge graph platforms.
• Proficiency with Stardog and SPARQL for large-scale data.
• Hands-on in Linux environments and cloud deployments.
• Strong SQL skills with relational integrations in data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and maintain Stardog environments across dev, test, and prod.
• Ensure knowledge graph platform availability, scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
• Administer enterprise knowledge graphs supporting healthcare analytics, interoperability, and AI initiatives.
• Develop and optimize SPARQL queries, semantic reasoning, indexing, and large-scale graph workloads.
• Implement backup, recovery, DR, and business continuity processes.
• Manage RDF/OWL/RDFS/SHACL and semantic data models for healthcare concepts and relationships.
• Collaborate with architects and data governance to design ontologies and semantic models.
• Support data virtualization, graph integrations, and semantic interoperability initiatives.
• Partner with Data/Platform Engineering to support enterprise data platforms.
• Integrate Stardog with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks, cloud storage, APIs, and data integration tech.
• Develop automation scripts and operational procedures for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Support cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, and Azure services.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and operational metrics.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity management for graph databases.
• Support CI/CD and IaC practices where appropriate.
• Administer and support platform operations within Linux-based environments via CLI.

In this role, you will:

• Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and maintain Stardog environments across development, test, and production.
• Ensure knowledge graph platform availability, scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
• Administer enterprise knowledge graph solutions supporting healthcare analytics, interoperability, benchmarking, quality reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Develop and optimize SPARQL queries, semantic reasoning performance, indexing strategies, and large-scale graph workloads.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Manage RDF, OWL, RDFS, SHACL, and semantic data models representing healthcare concepts, measures, entities, and relationships.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and data governance teams to design and maintain healthcare ontologies and semantic models.
• Support data virtualization, graph integrations, and semantic interoperability initiatives.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Platform Engineering teams to support enterprise data platforms.
• Integrate Stardog with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks, cloud storage platforms, APIs, and data integration technologies.
• Develop automation scripts and operational procedures for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and platform administration.
• Support cloud-native deployments utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related Azure services.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and operational metrics.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity management for graph database environments.
• Support CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices where appropriate.
• Administer and support platform operations within Linux-based environments using command-line tools.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
