A leading company in autonomous technology is seeking a Wireless Validation Engineer to develop and execute thorough validation tests for their network-connected devices. The role involves ensuring network performance under various standards and collaborating with engineers to maintain high-quality service. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with wireless testing equipment and solid background in networking protocols.
As a Wireless Validation Engineer, you will develop, document, and execute unit and system-level validation tests for network-connected devices. This includes mission-critical 4G-LTE, 5G-NR, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth wireless interfaces, integrated with Zoox’s on-vehicle and cloud-based networks. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure network performance meets quality of service targets, including availability. You will be hands-on to develop and execute test frameworks for prototypes and commercial system releases, ensuring network compliance with international regulations. There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $182,000 - $251,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
