Job summary

Ripple in San Francisco, CA seeks a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager for Information Security to lead the Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) migration program. You will work with InfoSec, XRPL Core, Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, Platform, Compliance, and Legal to ensure a company‑wide cryptographic transition ahead of Q‑Day, end of 2028.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of program management experience in enterprise tech environments.
• Solid understanding of cryptographic fundamentals (asymmetric/symmetric ciphers, hashing, digital signatures).
• Experience with PQC, cryptographic migrations, or security programs is a plus.
• Ability to use data and analytics to monitor health of projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and build consensus in a matrixed setting.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Google Sheets for tracking work.
• Previous experience architecting or designing scalable systems.
• Experience in Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, and/or Blockchain ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of Ripple’s PQC migration program.
• Stand up a cross‑org PQC working group with named owners across teams.
• Align with vendors and partners on PQC roadmaps, identify gaps.
• Identify bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions.
• Communicate program status and risk to engineering leadership and executives.
• Be a role model and inspire other TPMs.
• Create technical frameworks for engineering decision-making.
• Influence Operational Excellence processes across the org.
• Coordinate priorities with program, product, and engineering managers.
• Coordinate testing and release dependencies across teams.
• Build migration progress dashboards for leadership visibility.
