Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Sr Staff Systems Engineer (FedRAMP) to lead the technical implementation of automated cloud infrastructure within strictly governed public sector boundaries. You will own IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms, collaborating with Information Security and FedRAMP Production Operations to meet defense-grade compliance.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering supporting complex, highly regulated cloud environments.
• Google Cloud Platform Expertise with practical working knowledge of GCP Assured Workloads, Cloud IAM, and VPC Service Controls.
• Containerization & Orchestration in GKE or Kubernetes in production environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible).
• CI/CD pipelines with integrated security testing and governance.
• Regulated boundary mastery aligning to FedRAMP Moderate/High (NIST SP 800-53) and DoD SRG IL4/IL5.
• Scripting in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
• ITSM/change control within formal IT change frameworks.
• Clearance & eligibility for U.S. DoD IL5 boundary access.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, deploy, and maintain modular IaC across GCP and FedRAMP boundaries.
• Build, secure, and harden enterprise CI/CD pipelines with security gates and artifact signing.
• Manage and scale production GKE clusters with strict network isolation and zero-trust controls.
• Automate controls for NIST SP 800-53 and DoD SRG IL5, generating continuous monitoring evidence.
• Design monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting across boundary enclaves using Google Cloud tools.
• Implement zero-trust identity architectures (IAP, Cloud IAM, VPC Service Controls) and CAC/PIV tokens.
• Apply change governance and lead incident response to minimize production risk.
• Provide self-service automation tooling and mentor junior engineers in cloud security and GitOps.
• Participate in on-call rotation for FedRAMP cloud infrastructure.
