CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Java to lead design and modernization of enterprise-scale healthcare platforms. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver secure, scalable microservices and API–driven solutions that support millions of customers.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations to deliver innovative health care experiences for members, providers, and colleagues, while mentoring teams and championing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise software development in a large-scale distributed environment.
• 7+ years of hands-on Java application development with modern Java ecosystem frameworks.
• 5+ years of Java, Springboot development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD Pipeline automation.
• 3+ years of experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade Java solutions meeting business requirements.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability to ensure objectives are met.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members to align on technical decisions.
• Adopt best practices and new technologies to boost productivity and code quality.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, tech talks, and workshops to foster learning.
• Collaborate with developers to implement complex features and deliver high-quality code.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers to help grow their skills.
