Job summary

Crusoe designs and builds the cloud availability platform, delivering core services, APIs, SDKs, and a developer portal to manage Crusoe’s AI infrastructure fleet. The role focuses on developing control planes, topology graphs, and event-driven systems to empower fleet and SRE teams with safe, self-service automation.

You will own API design, developer tools, and platform reliability. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in distributed systems, proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust, and experience

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience building distributed systems, control planes, or infrastructure platforms.
• Strong skills in Go, Python, or Rust; experience delivering APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
• Depth in areas such as workflow orchestration, event-driven architecture, graph data models, policy engines, or reconciliation loops; on-call experience and systems thinking.

Design and build the cloud availability platform’s core services, APIs, SDKs, developer portal, inventory and topology graph, agents, and event bus to manage Crusoe’s AI infrastructure fleet. Deliver the platform roadmap and enable fleet, SRE, and product teams to deploy and operate infrastructure through safe, self-service automation.

Requirements: Requires 10+ years of experience building distributed systems, control planes, or infrastructure platforms, strong skills in Go, Python, or Rust, and experience delivering APIs, SDKs, or developer tools adopted by other engineers. Candidates should have depth in at least one relevant area such as workflow orchestration, event-driven architecture, graph data models, policy engines, or reconciliation loops, along with operational on-call experience and systems thinking across hardware and software.
