Waymo LLC is seeking an experienced leader to guide backend and frontend systems in a highly innovative setting. You will collaborate across teams, define roadmaps, and drive initiatives to completion while mentoring others.

The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to partner with PM, UX, legal, and operations to deliver impactful mobility software at scale.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years experience backend with C++ and/or Spanner.
• 6+ years frontend experience with Angular, Javascript, and React.
• 5+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across team boundaries to deliver backend and product features.
• Work cross-functionally with PM, UX, legal, operations, and other non-engineering roles.
• Take ownership and drive efforts to completion with leadership.
• Define technical roadmaps and manage performance.
