Coinbase is seeking a founding engineer for Finance Automation within the FP&A & Treasury organization. You will architect an AI-native platform that transforms planning, resource allocation, and liquidity management across 60+ entities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years backend software engineering with production systems at scale.
• Production deployment of LLM-based apps with governance and human-in-the-loop.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and stateful workflows.
• Fintech/ERP data flows and SOX-controlled environments familiarity.
• Ability to translate ambiguous spreadsheets into engineered systems.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of AI agents automating high-volume Finance workflows.
• Architect a governed agent platform with observability and human-in-the-loop checks.
• Build integrations with core financial systems and data pipelines.
• Partner with FP&A and Treasury leadership to translate workflows into tech.
