About the Role

We are looking for a Lead/Staff Software Engineer to help shape the architecture, development, and evolution of our core product. This is a hands-on technical leadership position for an engineer who can operate across the entire application stack, combining strong backend engineering skills in Python with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and design to deliver scalable, reliable software that solves meaningful customer problems. Beyond building features, you will influence technical direction, establish engineering standards, and help the team make thoughtful decisions as the product and business grow.

What You'll Do

• Own the design and delivery of full-stack product features, from user‑facing interfaces and backend services to data flows and third‑party integrations.
• Establish architectural patterns and engineering standards that support maintainability, scalability, security, and consistent development practices.
• Build and evolve backend applications and APIs using Python, designing systems that are reliable, performant, and straightforward to extend.
• Develop polished, responsive user experiences using React and TypeScript, with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and frontend performance.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with substantial experience building and maintaining production applications across the full stack.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience developing backend services, APIs, and application logic.
• Deep hands‑on experience with React and TypeScript, including building complex, component‑driven user interfaces.
• Experience designing and implementing full‑stack application architecture, making sound trade‑offs between immediate delivery and long‑term maintainability.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, service integrations, and the principles of building reliable backend systems.
• Experience with relational databases, application performance optimization, automated testing, and production troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and application monitoring.
• Ability to lead technical projects independently, break down ambiguous problems, and drive solutions through completion.
