Unknown is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer to join a product engineering team building cybersecurity tools for the U.S. defense industrial base. You will own features from planning through deployment and help shape platform infrastructure.

In this hybrid role, you will mentor engineers, lead multi-engineer projects, and maintain high engineering standards while moving quickly. Prior experience in TypeScript, React, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and backend OO languages is expected.

Qualificações

• At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with senior or staff-level depth.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript and a modern object-oriented backend language.
• Experience with React, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails; familiarity or interest in Rust or Node.js is useful.
• Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring other engineers.
• Hands-on coding, technical ownership, and delivering complex software.
• Experience at early-stage startups and motivation to work in cybersecurity/defense-related technology.
• Strong computer science fundamentals or an equivalent track record.

ABOUT THE ROLE

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: $210,000 to $260,000 USD annually.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid, with the primary location listed as Canada. The role also requires being located in or willing to relocate to New York City.
