Job summary

Uber seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Agentic Systems to lead the Enterprise Security Team. You will shape the next-gen endpoint security platform across posture, management, and vulnerability domains, guiding cross-functional teams and leveraging ML/GenAI to scale defenses.

You will mentor engineers, drive high-impact initiatives, and partner with IT, product, and operations to embed security at scale in a large cloud-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in security or software engineering with proven leadership.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python or Java and cloud-scale delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical security strategy and roadmap for enterprise endpoints.
• Own platform architecture and tools for securing macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Lead design of scalable, AI-assisted security defenses and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across multiple teams.
