Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Staff Security Architect to define the North Star for our multi-cloud security strategy and to embed security by design across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI.

In this high-impact, player-coach role you will drive threat modeling, mentor security engineers, and partner with engineering leadership to harden next-generation products while delivering scalable, secure cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or security architecture.
• Hands-on cloud security architecture (one provider + others).
• Deep Secure-by-Design, Privacy-by-Design and Zero Trust knowledge.
• Experience with threat modeling (STRIDE/PASTA) for microservices/serverless.
• Proficiency in Python or Go; secure CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architecture patterns across multi-clouds.
• Lead secure, scalable, resilient system designs with IAM and data protection.
• Drive Zero Trust across dev and production SaaS platforms.
• Own threat modeling methodology and drive deep-drive sessions.
• Translate risks into items for the Cybersecurity Risk Register.
• Advise on security products (CWPP, CSPM, NGFW) with product teams.
• Provide guidance to staff and senior engineers.
• Lead cross-functional Tiger Teams for security implementations.
