Job description

People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally, the stats are even more skewed. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.

Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (QuickBooks) is devoted to creating tools and services that dramatically improve the chances of success for small businesses around the world - from mileage tracking to invoicing, from payroll to accounting, from creating new ways to access capital to forging deep connections with experts. Our vision is to be the connected end-to-end platform that small and medium-sized businesses rely on every day to run and grow their business.

Responsibilities

Today, QuickBooks and Mailchimp bring industry-leading solutions to businesses worldwide, including Accounting, Payroll, Payments, and Marketing. The QuickBooks Shared Experiences Team integrates all products into a cohesive and delightful experience for our customers. This team is leading the vision for QuickBooks over the next several years, transforming the platform with connected data, a suite of integrated apps, AI-powered 'Done for you' agents, and on-demand expertise.

We seek an exceptional Senior Staff Product Manager passionate about reimagining how customers "Get Things Done" across all Intuit GBSG (Global Business Solutions Group) products and beyond. You will set the vision and strategy for the "Get Things Done" initiative, uniting experiences across the ecosystem to enable customers to complete core jobs efficiently and with high quality, showcasing the value of AI agents and expert support. You will partner with cross-functional teams to scale a central, cohesive capability that addresses all jobs, ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a bold, inspiring product vision and strategy, identifying new opportunities based on customer insights, competitive research, and industry trends.
  • Deeply understand small business needs across various industries, sizes, and workflows, as well as QuickBooks’ offerings.
  • Design for a complex ecosystem with a platform mindset, developing frameworks for consistent, scalable experiences across geographies and audiences.
  • Translate strategy into a product roadmap, delivering measurable outcomes and scaling the reimagined experience with high quality and speed.
  • Champion an AI-first, data-driven approach, integrating advanced technologies to provide actionable insights.
  • Work collaboratively and influence stakeholders across engineering, design, and product teams.
  • Influence adjacent product teams’ strategies and roadmaps related to the "Get Things Done" initiative.
  • Define success metrics and focus on outcomes to improve engagement, customer benefits, retention, and revenue.
  • Mentor and develop early-career product managers, sharing best practices in product management.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years in designing and delivering world-class software products as a Product Manager.
  • Proven success in creating innovative products with significant outcomes, including complex platform components.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to decompose a big vision into manageable milestones.
  • Experience leading initiatives across multiple product teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-awareness, and eagerness to learn.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills involving product, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Deep curiosity and data-driven decision-making, with a strong voice of the customer.
  • Passion for solving customer problems, big and small.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science, Business, or related; MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
