Job summary

Zip, the AI platform for enterprise procurement, is seeking a Senior/Staff Product Designer to lead product design in a core team. The role is based in San Francisco on a hybrid basis (3 days per week).

You will own the overall user experience for a product area and work with PMs, engineers, and customer teams to deliver thoughtful solutions. Design intuitive features for complex workflows across request management, no-code builders, dashboards, sourcing, and payments, with close collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably SaaS or consumer tech.
• Led at least one full product or major feature as lead designer.
• Worked closely with engineers to refine visual and UX details.

YOUR ROLE

We're looking to bring on a designer to lead product design in one of our core teams. We have a wide product surface area, covering request management, no-code workflow builders, dashboards, sourcing, payments, and more. You’ll work with a tight-knit team that values open communication and cross-functional collaboration. We move quickly to solve a wide range of complex product challenges with 100% emphasis on end-user experience. Please note, we are looking for someone who will be able to come into our San Francisco office on a hybrid basis (3 days / week).

YOU WILL

• Contribute strategic thinking to product features and roadmap
• Design highly intuitive products and features for complex workflows
• Own the overall user experience for a specific product area.
• Collaborate closely with our product and customer-facing teams to learn about our users and design thoughtful solutions
• Iterate quickly on designs based on user feedback
• Partner closely with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm, define, and implement new features and offerings
• Participate in regular design reviews to gather feedback from the rest of the design team

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience, preferably at a SaaS or consumer technology company
• Experience shipping at least one full product or a significant feature as the lead designer
• Experience iterating with engineers and other team members on both visual and UX designs to get the experience and details just right
• Great presentation, collaboration and communication skills
• Empathetic champion for your work’s audience and customers
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Understanding of the technical limitations and workflow for building web interfaces (CSS/HTML/JS) and native mobile apps (Swift, Kotlin/Java)

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $270,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
