Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a senior Probe Card Engineer to design, qualify, and provide technical direction for probe cards across global locations. You will shape device roadmaps and enable zero-defect testing through advanced QA and data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities include owning design specs, qualifying FOAK tech, solving pre-production issues, coordinating with suppliers and sites, and presenting insights to leadership for cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on probe card design experience; BS/AS degree or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of analog circuits, component selection, SI/PI, and mechanical thermal properties (CTE matching).
• Proficient in reading schematics/mechanical specs and hands-on validation using wafer test cells (Probers/Testers).
• Mastery of 3D CAD software, statistics, data analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Highly self-initiated with the ability to manage multiple concurrent designs and communicate complex technical data to leadership.

• Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal peer groups and present technical insights to engineering leadership to drive cross-functional alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in SI/PI, analog circuit component selection, and Material Science (thermal properties/CTE matching).
• Proven success leading technical design reviews and chairing meetings across global manufacturing sites.
• Expert-level DOE and statistical analysis to align manufacturing data with device roadmaps.
