Job summary

MediaTek is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Platform Team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will interpret functional safety requirements, develop system safety architectures, and collaborate with cross-organizational teams. A Master’s degree in electronic engineering or computer science is required. The position offers a competitive salary range of $177,000 - $286,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and 401K.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customers’ functional safety requirements.
• Derive functional and technical safety concepts from requirements.
• Develop and review the system safety architectures.
• Communicate and coordinate safety designs with IP teams.
• Perform system safety analysis (ex: FMEDA).

• Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
