Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a senior architect to oversee data source mapping, data movement, interfaces and analytics within PLM/MDM ecosystems in a remote US role. You will lead domain technical discussions, develop roadmaps, and mentor teams across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on PoCs with emerging technologies and designing enterprise-class data platforms. You will collaborate with business leaders, manage budget considerations, and drive strategy for future PLM/ALM initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Engineering
• Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates domain technical and business discussions across multiple teams
• Analyzes enterprise tools designs and develops a road map around PLM and MDM platforms
• Reviews and/or analyzes design at domain level and across teams
• Participates in EA governance model
• Leads research of emerging technologies to support multiple teams
• Provides leadership and mentoring within the domain
• Develops service-oriented data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams
• Partner with business leaders to align projects with goals
• Hands-on to build POC's using emerging technologies and stable design patterns
• Develops enterprise strategy including environment analysis and value cases
• Experience with ALM/PLM, microservices, SOA, big data, ElasticSearch/Solr, cloud, DevOps
• Enforces data quality and accuracy at entry points and evaluates vendors within PLM space
• Builds cross-functional relationships to maximize best practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

Associate degree with extended professional experience

High School Diploma with significant experience
