Job summary
Moveworks is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer Experience to own the technical foundation of the developer platform. You will design and ship core platforms, APIs, and tooling that enable teams to build faster and more reliably.
You'll lead end-to-end delivery, drive platform generality, and mentor senior engineers while shaping cross-team roadmaps for the Moveworks Agentic AI platform. This role requires in-office presence in Mountain View, CA 5x/week.
Qualifications
- 12+ years designing, building and operating production systems.
- Led design and multi-year operation of developer platforms.
- Strong systems engineer with scale of production microservices.
- End-to-end ownership and hands-on coding.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core developer platforms: SDKs, APIs, runtime abstractions.
- Own end-to-end delivery of products that increase developer productivity.
- Define platform primitives with generality and reliable abstractions.
- Drive measurable supply metrics: activation, velocity, quality.
- Lead technical strategy: roadmap, API design, cross-team alignment.
- Set engineering bar: architecture, observability, operational excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers and raise the team's depth.
