Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO from an approved medical school.
• Must have completed ACGME/AMA residency in appropriate specialty.
• Must have three years of physician experience in a clinic setting.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Serves as physician leader within the health center(s)/program(s) and provides direct clinical services.
• Collaborates with nursing and administrative leadership to ensure high quality, timely, safe, patient-centered services.
• Responds to concerns or complaints and participates in service recovery as needed.
• Develops and monitors evidence-based clinical pathways, algorithms and guidelines.
• Monitors clinical metrics and implements improvement plans.
• Participates in committees or projects to ensure expertise and representation.
• Assists with annual budgets to secure resources for goals and objectives.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff physicians and non-physician providers.
• Implements evidence-based clinical processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Maintains high performance standards in patient experience and staff satisfaction.
• Promotes equity and inclusion in organization and patient care.
• Fosters collaboration across departments and community partners.
• Develops internal controls to ensure adherence to laws and accreditation requirements.
• Models professional conduct and ensures compliance with Parkland policies.
